Purchased in 2001 for $43,000 at the National Bull Sale. Standout, has a major influence in Maungahinas’ herd. His first sons sold in the 2005 Maungahina Bull Sale for the average of $10,013 for 15 bulls, with five Stud bulls sold. At 9 years old he is still sound with his daughters being the best breeders and milkers in the herd to date.
Maungahina Fastrak
Son of Premier 25C Standout. Semen rights sold 2004 to Elfdale Stud, Australia for $30,000. First and second crop of bulls sired by Fastrak, topped the 2007/2008 Bull Sale (Maungahina). His females are outstanding with plenty of milk.

Maungahina Dr Grace V118
Trait leader for 200, 400 & 600 day. Dam Maungahina W Graceful 154 is undoubtedly one of the best cows in the herd. Half brother Maungahina Gurka sold for $24,000 in 2005 Bull Sale. Also half brother Maungahina Keeninsky will be retained in stud for 2008.

Style is a Sire that bred true to type. Great legs and feet as well as constitution hence why we kept one of the bulls bred here at Maungahina by Style (Maungahina Iguacui).
Maungahina Iguacu
Combines moderate birth, carcass (positive in both rib and rump fats) constitution, structural soundness and cosmetics. His Dam at Rising 14 years has impeccable udder and has produced a top calf every year including breeding three Stud bulls. She is open to be flushed in 2008. Semen rights sold to Mr. Greg Ebbeck (Australia).

Harvie Raftsman is one of the most excting herd sires out there today. He combines carcass, calving ease, performance, and show appeal. Rafstman had the number one carcass measurements at Agribition as a calf, and was named 2008 Reserve Senior Champion bull at the Denver stock show. NZ semen rights imported from Canada at 8 months of age.
